WMD Blast: Still Waiting for Proof of the Bogus Stark County Poll Edition

Here are a few things I'm reading and thinking about today...

  • I'm still waiting for proof of this bogus poll from Stark County...don't worry, I'm not holding my breath.

  • The Buckeye Institute has an piece that clearly explains what exactly is wrong with Ohio which includes this fun fact:
Ohio has raced past forty-one other states and now ranks fifth in state and local taxes measured as a percent of income. No other state in the nation has increased its relative tax burden as greatly over the past thirty-five years.
Columbus has been having fun since 1970 while the rest of the state burns...

  • This Sick Day bill sounds like a really bad idea to me...on top of the problems Ohio faces because of the item above, adding this sort of burden is not going to make Ohio attractive to business... Maggie Thurber has more to say on the subject at her place...

  • It has been FOUR DAYS since intrepid reporters Josh and Dave posted anything on their blog. I sure hope those guys are okay...

  • I know that Portman, Montgomery, DeWine, and Petro have all said NYET, but surely we have a deeper bench than this for Attorney General... Speaking of Betty Montgomery and the AG's office, she delivered a nice broadside to the Former Occupant...

  • Oh yeah...OPEN THREAD in the comments...

  • MORE LATER...
