About that Freddie/Fannie bailout...the NYT has the roll call, and I want to highlight the Ohio delegation:
OHIO: Democrats -- Jones, Y; Kaptur, N; Kucinich, Y; Ryan, Y; Space, Y; Sutton, Y; Wilson, Y.I can't think of a more clear definition of who is and who is not a conservative than this vote right here...
Republicans -- Boehner, N; Chabot, N; Hobson, Y; Jordan, N; LaTourette, Y; Latta, N; Pryce, Y; Regula, N; Schmidt, N; Tiberi, Y; Turner, Y.
A "Y" vote means that you believe in more government entitlements and handouts. Whatever happened to personal responsibility? What happened to fiscal responsibility? These "Y" voters think that the government should bail everybody out who made a bad decision.
Yes, Dave Hobson, I'm talking about you...
Yes, Steven "Cut and Run" LaTourette, I'm talking about you...
Yes, Deb Pryce, I'm talking about you...
Yes, Pat Tiberi, I'm talking about you...
And yes, Mike Turner, I am talking about you too...
At least two of the five have the good sense to get out of the game...
UPDATE: I just noticed something odd...Marcy Kaptur voted no... Isn't THAT odd? Anybody have any insight in to that? Did she want the issue to just die in a committee or some other grand strategery like that???
