The Cincinnati Enquirer reported this morning that Butler County Prosecuter Robin Piper had indicated that Judge David Niehaus of the Juvenile Court had passed away last night. The Journal-News adds that according to court officials, Niehaus died of an apparent heart attack at the age of 64.
UPDATE: “Judge Niehaus was one of the best, he had such an impact on so many kids and family’s lives. His public service, dedication and leadership will be surely missed in the Courts. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Niehaus family and he was a great American!" said Scott Owens former County GOP Executive Director.
UPDATE 2: "The Butler County GOP is deeply saddened by the sudden and unexpected death of the Honorable Judge David Niehaus and Butler County Judicial Circuit Judge. Our deepest sympathy and condolences to the Niehaus Family. Judge Niehaus served Butler County Honorably for 27 years." said Executive Committee Chairman Tom Ellis.
