The Athens News has a lengthy story explaining the whole ordeal, but clearly these two unions have a problem with telling the truth. When they can't attack Jill Thompson's record, they smear her with stuff they just make up and wish were true.
The whole line of attack is dumb too. The SEIU was the union pushing the job killer so-called Healthy Families Act that was a total job killer and economy buster. That bill was so bad, even Gov. They have blatantly lied about Jill Thompson's record on sick days. She took maternity leave as county employee, not sick leave as the Auditor. It is ironic that both of these unions are in favor of the sick day leave law because it will supposedly mean healthier Ohioans, yet they are willing to participating in the smearing of a mother who took maternity leave.
As usual, the center-left Ohiosphere is more than willing to do their masters' bidding on these issues. I'm not shocked at all, but Ohio voters should be...
