EMILY's List Endorses Neuhardt in OH-07

Mark this date down...we're going to publish -- right here on the hallowed virtual pages of WMD -- a press release from EMILY's List (via Iowa Politics -- which is the only place I was able to find this release, by the way...):
Washington, D.C.- EMILY’s List, one of the nation’s largest political action committees and financial resources for women running for elected office, today announced its endorsement of two women running in competitive races for the U.S. House of Representatives.

“Running in emerging take-back opportunities for the House, Becky Greenwald and Sharen Neuhardt represent the dynamic, capable, and visionary leaders we need in Congress today,” said Ellen R. Malcolm, president of EMILY’s List. “Hailing from the swing states of Iowa and Ohio, these exceptional candidates have the passion and experience to tackle the real problems facing their districts. Their backgrounds and leadership will be valued assets in the upcoming freshman class in Congress. EMILY’s List members are proud to support these Democratic women and help elect them to the United States House in November.”

[Useless prattle about some chick in Iowa that EMILY's also endorsed has been redacted...]

Sharen Neuhardt, Ohio’s 7th congressional district

As a lifelong resident of Ohio, Sharen Neuhardt understands and is dedicated to the concerns of Ohio’s 7th district. An accomplished lawyer, Neuhardt will work for fundamental and systemic improvements to health care and to develop new technologies for energy independence. Neuhardt sits on the Board of Trustees of Premier Community Health in Dayton, Ohio, a project that offers free mammograms, pap tests and other services to uninsured women. Neuhardt’s commitment to Ohio is apparent through her active involvement with local communities and farmers to preserve their agricultural heritage, and to protect family farms and agricultural land from development. Because of her leadership, experience, and dedication to her community, Sharen Neuhardt will make her a valuable voice for the working families she will represent in Congress.

With more than 100,000 members across the country, EMILY’s List is one of the largest political action committees in the nation. Since its founding in 1985, EMILY’s List has raised over $240 million to elect 71 pro-choice Democratic women to the U.S. House, 13 to the U.S. Senate, and eight governors. Over the course of 23 years, EMILY’s List has helped elect hundreds of pro-choice Democratic women to federal office, state legislatures, state constitutional offices, and other key local offices.
This is a funny release!!! We all know that EMILY's List only supports pro-abortion, female candidates. What the release also fails to mention is that Sharen also served on the board of Planned Parenthood. I doubt EMILY's List endorsed her because she sits on a board that does admirable things. They endorsed her because she supports partial birth abortion and teenagers getting abortions without parental consent.

Is that who you want representing YOU in Congress OH-07?
