Message from Mary Taylor

Mary Taylor:

Our Opportunity

We live in the greatest country in the world! I thank God every day that I was born an American! Last week, we exercised one of our greatest fundamental rights and responsibilities--we voted. In that single action, the freedom and democracy we enjoy and cherish as Americans were exemplified in front of the world as we peacefully elected a new President.
Together, we must now commit to renewing the values and principles of the Republican Party, making it possible for more people to achieve the "American Dream."
We must commit to making our state and nation a better place to live, work, invest and raise our families by:

  • Making government accountable and more efficient and effective;

  • Fighting for tax simplification and real tax relief;

  • Revitalizing our economic and job opportunities;

  • Restoring prosperity and peace of mind;

  • Protecting our individual rights; and

  • Renewing our commitment to family values.

  • Today, we begin to rebuild our Republican Party to better serve Ohioans and Americans. Here's how you can help:

    We must energetically recruit candidates for every elected office - from the court house to the White House - who agree with, understand, and are willing to fight for these Republican values and principles. These candidates must be able to engage in discussions and work with their constituencies to achieve a balanced approach to the challenges and opportunities we face.

    We must elect Republican candidates who will serve with honesty and integrity and commit to regaining the public's trust.

    We must recruit women and men who agree with our Republican values and principles and put them in positions of leadership in our local, state, and national Republican Party.

    The opportunities we face as a party and people are limitless.

    Today, I commit to renewing my investment in these values and principles, and I ask you to renew your commitment to our Party, state and nation!

    Sincerely,
    Mary Taylor, CPA
    Ohio Auditor of State
