DeMint for Senate Finance Committee; Voinovich for Back Bencher

I have to take a second to highlight this piece over at Carolina Politics Online touting Pat Toomey's Club for Growth endorsement of Jim DeMint for a seat at the Seante Finance Committee. Specifically, this part:

According to Mr. Toomey, Ohio Senator George Voinovich is also seeking the post. With him being more moderate and a longer serving Senator I am willing to bet that is who McConnell will turn to. We’ll see.

Republicans -- and dare I say the nation -- needs somebody who not only talks the talk, but also actually walks the walk. Voinovich is not that man. DeMint is. But y'all knew that already...
