Voinovich Still Desperate to Socialize Auto Industry

Statement:

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The following is a statement on the American auto industry from U.S. Senator George V. Voinovich (R-OH), Co-Chairman of the Senate Auto Caucus:

“Time is running out. Senators Levin, Bond and I brokered legislation that is still the only bi-partisan proposal, which we believe with help from congressional leadership would pass both Houses and be signed by the president if taken up for a vote. I strongly believe this legislation should be voted on next week. There is absolutely no reason whatsoever to wait any longer.”

You know, someday, we're all going to look back on this and have ourselves a good laugh... Our children and their children? Not so much...
