Husted Not Running for Governor

I'm going to go ahead and disagree with our friends at the Republican State Leadership Committee and say that Ohio does NOT need more leaders like Jon Husted. In fact, we need the opposite. I will state that this is some of the best news I've heard in awhile:

"I'm looking at lots of things, but running for governor is not one of them," Husted told Plain Dealer editors during a visit on Friday.

Of course, the real story here is that Husted knows that John Kasich vs. Rob Portman is more than enough star power for the race to take on T-Shirt Ted.

If Husted were smart, he'd hang in the Ohio Senate until he gets term-limited and people forget his miserable "leadership" in the Ohio House before making any attempt to raise his profile again.
