According to the 2009 State Business Tax Climate Index (PDF), Ohio STILL ranks #47 in the United States of America.
He has the nerve to say this...
Recently, these tax reforms have been attacked by groups who are seeking higher taxes and more spending on government programs. And, while the economy is not producing jobs at the moment, this study serves as a reminder that when the economy recovers and new investments grow businesses and create jobs, that Ohio is better positioned to succeed....knowing full well that taxes were raised on his watch and spending increased during his tenure.
Lord knows, we all hope that Ohio is "better positioned to succeed" it sure didn't have a thing to do with Jon Husted or the Republicans in the Ohio House the last few years.
Ladies and Gentlemen of the jury, I give you Prosecution Exhibit A:
Mr. Husted, please stop the insanity. Please stick to the truth...it will be easier to remember.
