Site Update

I wanted take a few moments to update those of you loyal readers of WMD what's going on lately...

I have been pretty sick the last week, so I haven't been doing much of anything. Thanks goes out to Don Carpenter for getting some material on the site.

I managed to get a couple of posts up over at Red County/Butler over the last week or so. The first is about the Cincinnati Public Schools board and an absurd expense that voters ought to remember when CPS puts yet another levy on the ballot. And the second was the return of the Cardinal Points series.

Speaking of Red County...Team WMD is in the process of deciding what is going to happen in this space in 2009. We want your input, so feel free to tell us what you like and what you don't... We'll take a look at what you have to say, which is more than what I can say about the 2008 Weblog Awards...

Speaking of the 2008 Weblog Awards...thanks to EVERYBODY who nominated us. Unfortunately, we got screwed even though we were leading our category in nominations, the clique committee decided that blogs with fewer nominations were more worthy. I don't know how that works either, but there you have it. Sure, I was angry about that for awhile...and when combined with being sick, that probably explains why I have been less enthused about getting back in the game here...but what's done is done...and we're moving on...
