Cincinnati, Ohio - Rob Portman announced today that he has hired leading political strategist Bob Paduchik as his campaign manager. Paduchik will begin his new role with Portman for Senate on February 7.
"Bob is a star in Ohio politics. He's one of the most successful political strategists in Ohio and a high integrity guy who is well respected across the board. I am honored that after all of the successful races he has managed in Ohio that he is joining our team as campaign manager," said Portman. "This will be a hard fought contest and we need the best team that we can put on the field."

Bob is leaving his current role as a strategic public affairs consultant to assume the campaign manager position for Portman for Senate.
Over the last twenty years, Bob has earned extensive experience in Ohio politics, most notably delivering the battleground state as the Ohio Campaign Manager for President George W. Bush's reelection. He has also worked on several successful Gubernatorial and Congressional campaigns.
Bob also served as Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Office of Intergovernmental, External & Indian Affairs at the U.S. Department of Energy in 2001.
Bob is a native of Tallmadge, Ohio and a graduate of the University of Akron. He and his wife, Amanda, and their two children will relocate to Columbus, Ohio.
