(CINCINNATI, OH) Former Republican Majority Whip of the Ohio House of Representatives, Michelle Schneider announced today that she has raised nearly $75,000 for her 2010 State Senate bid at an event last week at the Kenwood Country Club.
“I am honored by, and thankful for, the outpouring of support that I have received,” said Schneider. “My message of lower taxes and less government is really taking hold.”
Over 150 people attended the kickoff event including Senator Bill Seitz, Senator Gary Cates, broadcaster Bill Cunningham and State Auditor Mary Taylor who was the keynote speaker.
“Michelle will do an outstanding job as a state senator,” State Auditor Taylor said. “I need her help in Columbus.”
“I am excited about Michelle Schneider’s candidacy because she is going to be part of the team the will bring Republicans back in 2010,” Hamilton County GOP Chairman Alex Triantafilou said.
