Youngstown John Boccieri is up to his usual shenanigans this week. Not only did he sign on to co-sponsor the inherently anti-American Employee Free Choice Act – also known as Card Check – last week, but now he has voted to block a bill that would have helped the government recoup the taxpayer-funded bonuses AIG executives received!
Throughout his political career, Boccieri has received hundreds of thousands of dollars in campaign cash from big labor bosses, so it’s no surprise he’s returning the favor and co-sponsoring Card Check. As many of you know, Card Check will end the secret ballot in the workplace. In response, HB 131 was introduced. HB 131 would, amongst other things, direct the Treasury Secretary to recoup the bonuses and prevent tax dollars from going to AIG until the bonuses are recouped. Boccieri always talks about fighting for the middle class, but yet he’s willing to stand up for AIG executives who took hundreds of millions in taxpayer dollars to pay bonuses. Chalk that up as another campaign promise that he’s now ignoring…
The ‘Youngstown John’ update is dedicated to Rep. John Boccieri (OH-16), Ohio’s most notorious Youngstown liberal. Whether it’s taking dirty campaign cash, carpetbagging, or deceiving his constituents, Boccieri’s done it all! Keep your eyes open every week here at WMD for the ‘Youngstown John’ update, through which will expose Boccieri for who he really is – a fake Youngstown liberal who is a rubber stamp for Nancy Pelosi, big labor bosses, and out-of-touch beltway Democrats.
