Hamilton County: Sheriff Leis Has Lost His Mind

Semper Si has thrown a fit in the past over not having enough resources at his disposal to house Hamilton County's prisoners and now he wants a boat! Did I read that right? I think I did...

As the Enquirer reported Sunday, Hamilton County Sheriff Simon Leis will ask county commissioners on Wednesday to sign off on his using federal grant money to buy a sport cabin boat to be used to patrol potential terrorist targets on the Ohio River.

I don't care where the money is coming from, Hamilton County does not need a sheriff boat...we don't have any pirates off the shore of the Ohio River.....
