If this scenario turns out to be the truth, I'm going to have to apologize to Chairman DeWine...
This one has some odd logic to it, but bear with me for a minute...
One of Team Kasich's more well known staffers is Doug Preisse. Doug is connected -- as is Mary Taylor -- to Alex Arshinkoff.
Is it possible that Alex is -- once again -- behind the scenes pulling strings? If so, this would be a disaster of biblical proportions because the very last guy we need John Kasich owing favors to is Alex Arshinkoff.
As much as I despised Bob Bennett, Alex Arshinkoff is every bit as bad (if not actually worse) and the party really needs to rid itself of these shady characters rather than embracing them.
More food for thought...
UPDATE: Scott Pullins is hearing that kasich-Taylor is the fault of...Kasich-Taylor. Specifically, that Taylor felt as if the ORP wasn't supporting her sufficiently and took the easy way out. Once again, if this is true, my opinion of Taylor just sank another notch.
