BUTLER COUNTY: MetroParks Announces Photo Contest

Butler County, Ohio (10/27/10) – MetroParks of Butler County announces a photography contest, “Pix in Parks”, beginning today. There is no entry fee and photos can be submitted up until November 30, 2010. The contest is open to all ages and ability levels.  Participants may submit up to 5 photos in each of two categories: Nature/Scenery and People in Parks and must be taken in a MetroParks of Butler County park area.  There will be two prizes given away in each category. Winners will be determined by the most “Likes” on the MetroParks’ Facebook page by December 31^st.  “Likes” can also be emailed to MetroParks at metroparks@butlercountyohio.org. Winners will be announced on January 7^th on the MetroParks’ website at http://www.metroparksofbutlercounty.org/.
