Blessing Elected to the Ohio House for the 129th General Assembly

Columbus—Ohio House Republican Assistant Leader Louis W. Blessing, Jr. (R-Cincinnati) has been reelected to serve as the state representative of the 29th Ohio House District during the 129th General Assembly. He will be sworn in on January 3, 2011.

“As a public servant, it has been a great honor to serve the people of this great state and to be a voice for the 29th District,” said Rep. Blessing. “The 129th General Assembly will face some very difficult challenges, but I’m ready to work with my colleagues to find solutions to Ohio’s most important issues.”

Rep. Blessing has served the people of southwest Ohio in the legislature for more than 25 years. Prior to joining the legislature, he worked as an attorney in Cincinnati, a Common Pleas Court Referee for the Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas, and a Colerain Township Trustee. Additionally, he was a member of the Hamilton County Township Trustees and Clerks Association.
