Now this is a very interesting story. Read the whole thing. But it is actually possible for the TSA to do the right thing. They hate it; but it appears that at least in this instance, this citizen's rights were respected even after he was selected for the Porno-Scanner and opted-out.
A prerequisite is a pair of police officers that actually understand your rights as an American citizen. That may require a bit of luck...
