OHIO HOUSE: Rep Combs to Serve as Chairman of Transportation, Public Safety and Homeland Security Committee

COLUMBUS—State Representative Courtney E. Combs (R-Hamilton) was today appointed by House Speaker William G. Batchelder (R-Medina) to serve as chairman of the Transportation, Public Safety and Homeland Security Committee during the 129th General Assembly.  He will also serve on the State Government and Elections Committee—where he will also be on the Redistricting Subcommittee—as well as the Insurance Committee.
 
“I am honored and humbled to have been entrusted by Speaker Batchelder to serve as chairman of the Transportation, Public Safety and Homeland Security Committee,” said Rep. Combs.  “I am eager to continue working on Ohio’s transportation issues as I take on this leadership position.”
 
Rep. Combs represents the 54th Ohio House District, which includes portions of Butler County.  Prior to joining the Legislature, he served as a member of Hamilton City Council and was a Butler County commissioner.  He is a licensed realtor and a broker of Combs Group Realty.
