WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Bill Johnson (OH-6) issued the following statement regarding the White House’s $3.73 trillion budget unveiled today:“The $3.73 trillion budget offered by the White House this morning unfortunately shows the Obama Administration remains tone deaf to the will of the American people. Instead of making significant cuts to start putting a dent into our long-term debt, the White House budget adds about $9 trillion to the national debt over the next 10 years in new government spending. It will also raise taxes on working families and job creators. Over the last two years, we’ve watched the federal government grow at the expense of our economy. It’s time for a new approach that puts our economy first.”
