Gov. Kasich Appoints Aslinger to Darke County Court of Common Pleas

COLUMBUS – Today Gov. John R. Kasich announced his first judicial appointment since taking office in January. Jason R. Aslinger of Greenville (Darke Co.) will serve as judge of the Darke County Court of Common Pleas Probate and Juvenile Divisions. Aslinger’s term begins April 4, 2011 and ends when a successor is qualified and elected.

Aslinger earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Bowling Green State University in 1993 and his juris doctor from the University of Toledo College of Law in 1996. He is the owner of the Law Office of Jason Aslinger, LLC, a private law practice located in Greenville, and was previously a partner at Amick, Breaden & Aslinger in Greenville and an associate attorney at the firm of Dynes & Garbig in Arcanum.

Aslinger is a volunteer attorney for the Cancer Association of Dark County and is a current board member of the Darke County Chamber of Commerce. He resides in Greenville with his wife Karin and their three children.
