The Oxford Press is reporting that State Rep. Tim Derickson has launched a campaign to replace State Senator Gary Cates.
Derickson is in his second term in the Ohio House. He is the third candidate to declare interest in the securing the recommendation from the Butler County GOP Executive Committee. Previously, St. Rep Bill Coley and businessman M. Shawn McCabe announced.
My question for Derickson is this: What does he think he can accomplish in the Ohio Senate that he isn't capable of doing from the Ohio House?
