BUTLER COUNTY: Furmon Cleared

Very glad to hear that justice has finally been rendered on the annoying matter of Commissioner Furmon's former son-in-law. This is the part of the story from the Fairfield Echo that matters:
Commission President Charles Furmon was cleared of any wrongdoing involving pay increases of his former son-in-law while a county employee, the ethics commission found.
Seriously, Ethics Board, that case was brought up in April of 2008...what took so long? One might draw the conclusion that the Board was trying to make matters worse for Butler County Republicans or something...

In other news, Jolivette was "guilty" and has to repay the county for hiring his son.
