Powerful New Tool Coming to Ohio GOP?

This is a very interesting article that covers some "inside baseball" technical stuff FAR behind the scenes but it is critical infrastructure that could lead to a VAST improvement to the voter database system for Republicans right here in Ohio.
Adler tells me his initial goal is to get 12 battleground states up and running. He already has all the voter information ready and available for Ohio and can build the Ohio system in 2-3 weeks. To get Ohio up and running fairly quickly would be huge, as Ohio went blue in 2008 for the first time in many years. Also if you recall Ohio was heavily in the news in 2008 because of the mess with ACORN.
I asked our friends at the Ohio Republican Party for a comment and Chris Maloney said:
"The Ohio Republican Party is proud to be recognized as a leader among national organizations when it comes to online data management of voter metrics."

"Campaigns often rely upon us having the most up-to-date information possible, that is why we work year-round with political candidates, vendors and the RNC to consistently update and refine our own database."
If the ORP is going forward with this project, I think it is safe to say that Ohio will be red again in 2012. Elections are about turnout and turnout is based on information.
