51st OH: Retherford on Jolivette Withdrawal

Statement:

Today, my Republican opponent withdrew his petitions for the 51st State House District Primary election. I was truly sorry to hear this and wish him all the best. I was truly looking forward to a spirited debate over the course of the Republican Primary.

I was also pleased with the Board of Elections vote to certify my name to the ballot. I still plan on working as hard as I was when I had an opponent in the primary. I will still get out there and work for the people and look forward to a spirited and open debate with my opponent in the General Election.

I look forward to the upcoming campaign and to speaking with all the voters of this district. Thank You.
