Tony DeVitis Selected as State Representative of the 43rd District

COLUMBUS—Speaker of the Ohio House William G. Batchelder (R-Medina) has announced that the House Republican Caucus selected Tony DeVitis of Green to serve as state representative of the 43rd Ohio House District. He will be sworn in during a House session on Wednesday, December 14th.



“Representative DeVitis is an experienced and accomplished public servant who will serve the House well,” said Speaker Batchelder. “His extensive background in business and economics will add a valuable voice to the legislature in our mission to bring jobs to the State of Ohio.”

An 18-year resident of Green, DeVitis is the owner and vice president of the family-owned DeVitis & Sons, Inc., an Italian specialty food store in North Hill. He is currently serving his first four-year term as Councilman for Ward 3, where he serves as the Chair of the Rules and Personnel Committee, Vice Chair of the Public Safety Committee, a member of the Finance Committee and is the Council President Pro Tem.

DeVitis and his wife, Kathleen, have two children, Evelyn and Clark.
