Obama Administration Says High Gas All In Your Head, and He Didn't Refuse the Keystone Pipeline...

The unmitigated gall of this man....

First, we have this story from CBS news, about the dangerous gas price rise:
alk about pain at the pump! Some Florida drivers are spending nearly $6 a gallon to fill up their gas tanks.

According to, motorists are shelling out $5.89 for a gallon of regular gas at a Shell station in Lake Buena Vista, topping out at $5.99 a gallon for premium. It doesn’t get better at a Suncoast Energy station in Orlando, where drivers are paying $5.79 for a gallon of regular.

“Prices over in the Disney World area are much higher than any other place in Florida,” Jessica Brady, AAA spokeswoman, told CBS Tampa, adding that people regularly complain about gas prices in that area.

The Sunshine State is opening up its wallet, paying an average of $3.67 a gallon of unleaded gas, 12 cents more than the national average. And it’s only expected to go up.

“It doesn’t look like we will have relief at the pump anytime soon,” Brady told CBS Tampa. “I do think we will see prices surpass $4 a gallon. I think we will see that closer to spring time.”

And from, we have this:

Oil prices have soared to a record high in sterling terms and are approaching euro highs, raising fears that European countries struggling with heavy debts will face further barriers to economic recovery.

“This is a regional oil shock,” said Amrita Sen, commodities analyst at Barclays Capital in London.

So much for recovery...

And even though people are really concerned about having to sell a kidney to get to work, Obama says media to blame over gas being HIGHER THAN IT EVER HAS BEEN AT THIS POINT IN A YEAR( ):
Obama White House Says Rising Gas Prices Just “An Annual Affair Bolstered By Media Hysteria.” “The administration officials brushed off the brewing political storm over rising gas prices as an annual affair bolstered by media hysteria. They said the White House anticipated the current spike in gas prices, which they attribute to increased demand around the world, particularly from China.”

It would have NOTHING to do with his policies of hindering refinery expansion and production, or limiting and hindering oil exploration off the coasts, or his flirtation with corrupt green energy, or even refusing the Keystone Pipeline...But wait, in the height of thinking you are stupid, his press guy says, Barry didn't refuse the pipeline:
White House press secretary Jay Carney first says Republicans "forced" President Obama to deny the permit for the Keystone XL pipeline. Later in his press briefing, Carney says Obama didn't turn down the pipeline.

"In terms of Keystone, as you all know, the history here is pretty clear. And the fact is because Republicans decided to play political with Keystone, their action essentially forced the administration to deny the permit process because they insisted on a time frame in which it was impossible to completely approve the pipeline," Carney said when asked about the pipeline by ABC News' Jake Tapper.

Later in the briefing, Carney says it is the Republicans' fault.

Jake Tapper: "How can you say that you have an all the above on approach if the President turned down the Keystone pipeline? And you blame the Republicans for making it political."

Carney: "But the President didn't turn down the Keystone pipeline. There was a process in place, with long precedent, run out of the State Department because of the issue of the pipeline crossing an international boundary, that required an amount of time for proper for review after an alternate route was deemed necessary through Nebraska at the request of the Republican Governor of Nebraska and other stakeholders in Nebraska and the region that needed to play out, to be done appropriately. You can't review and approve a pipeline, the route for which doesn't even exist.

It is never Obama's fault. He is the no responsibility President. Nothing is ever his fault or problem. It is always the other guy. Sorry, Barry, but you own this economy. Your own people have said it already. This is your problem now. And wasting our tax dollars on solyndra and other megafails isn't going to help. Drill here, drill now, pay less. Nuff said.
