Greg Jolivette is a nice guy. And I like nice guys, even in politics. Especially in politics. But Jolly ain't an independent and trying to claim so because you failed to properly submit your petitions is just downright not nice.
So, yeah, you will have to imagine my surprise that Secretary of State Jonny Husted actually did do the right thing and broke the Board of Elections tie with a vote to keep Jolly off the ballot as an independent.
Yes, I am happy that former WMD contributor Wes Retherford has a better shot to win now that Jolly won't be splitting the R vote.
