ORP Chair Bennett on Obama's "Doing Just Fine"

Statement:
COLUMBUS - In a Friday morning press conference, President Obama said, "the private sector is doing fine." In response Chairman Bennett issued the following statement:

"President Obama has made it abundantly clear to the people of Ohio that he has no clue about the day-to-day challenges families face in this struggling economy. In Ohio more than 431,000 people are unemployed, and nationwide 23 million Americans are struggling to find work.

"President Obama clearly can't see what is wrong with our economy. How can he be trusted to fix it?

"Thanks to Obama's burdensome regulations, health care law, out-of-control spending, and the threat of tax hikes, job creators are scared to invest. Our leaders at the national level must provide the stability and confidence jobs creators need to grow. Until then, Ohio and states across the nation will be faced with incredible obstacles to creating a business friendly environment.

"Thankfully, we can elect Mitt Romney in November. Governor Romney is a leader who knows the private sector and has a plan to create jobs, not by growing government, but by promoting free enterprise."
