"While celebrating the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., we commemorate the example he set for us to follow today," said Chairman Bennett. "He challenged our country to live up to its ideals of liberty, justice, and equality for all. His dream to end racism, segregation, and injustice was an inspiration for the people of America to be a better nation."

"Dr. King was a champion for those in need and we are a better country today because of him."

"Today, we honor his legacy by standing up to defend the liberties of everyone in our society and strive to always lend a helping hand to those who are victims of prejudice, those who are hurting, or who are struggling economically."
