Iraqi-US Joint Operation Raid Nets Results

In the first ever joint operation with Iraqi and US forces, 92 were arrested and a variety of weapons were seized. Check out the full story from Fox News.

Matt's Chat

More good news from Iraq! Let's hope that these kinds of things happen more often.

Mark's Remarks

Amen! Of course, this will mostly be glossed over in the liberal-friendly media. I love the fact that Iraqis and US soldiers can work together for the common good. Hoopefully this will continue, AND actually be reported as good news.

And Now It Begins With Iran...EU Launches A Shot

The European Union threatens economic sanctions against Iran over their nuclear program. Catch the full story from Reuters.

Matt's Chat

How soon can we expect (useless?) UN resolutions?

Mark's Remarks

Of course, the UN will make sanctions, and expect others to do the dirty work for them. Of course, if the UN would have done a better job of policing its own members (namely France and Russia, who gave Iran the tech) then perhaps this would not have happened. But of course, we are always the bad guys, right, liberals out there?

Bush to Sign "Do-Not-Call" Legislation

Read the USA Today story.

Matt's Chat

I think even the Democrats support this one...now, if we can avoid any more legislation from the judicial branch, we might get this thing done.

Mark's Remarks

Of course they support it, Matt...they had to do focus group studies galore to tell them what common sense says....people do not want to be interrupted during dinner. Seriously, I would love to see who appointed these judges who are legislating....I bet it was a liberal.....Ooops, there I go again, purveying the hate. My bad. Forgive my opinion......
