Yes, Ms. Coulter said they were synonyms, which means words that mean the same thing or very similar. Therefore, by saying he took the intiative in creating the internet, he took the initiative in inventing the internet. Also, he was not the only person who took the initiative. In his interview, he sounds like he did it all on his own. Why is that? Typical liberal grandstanding? Forgetfulness? Lack of understanding? You decide.
