Pakistan and Saudi Nuclear Pact

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have concluded a secret agreement on "nuclear cooperation" that will provide the Saudis with nuclear-weapons technology in exchange for cheap oil, according to a ranking Pakistani insider.

The disclosure came at the end of a 26-hour state visit to Islamabad last weekend by Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Arabia's de facto ruler, who flew across the Arabian Sea with an entourage of 200, including Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al Faisal and several Cabinet ministers.

Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, the pro-American defense minister who is next in line to the throne after the crown prince, was not part of the delegation.

Matt's Chat

My analysis of this event goes like this: the UN has failed yet again to contain a situation and now nuclear proliferation is beginning to spiral out of control.

Had the all-powerful, all-knowing UN been able to get Iran to behave, Saudi Arabia (supposedly) wouldn't have a reason to seek a nuclear deterent. Now the UN is going to have to take a role in Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, North Korea and Iran to get the proliferation issues under control. I don't forsee the UN being able to handle this situation. And I dare them to ask us for help.

Mark's Remarks

Yes, liberals, yes....I hope you are happy now. See what happens when you let the UN try to take care of things? Can you see why we have been fighting for so long to keep tech out of the Middle East having to do with nuclear weapons? Probably not. Let me explain it to you.....I will try not to use too big of words, as it might confuse some liberals out there.

See, Saudis get nukes. Other countries want them. Saudis are suspicious anyways, as some of the royal family supposedly likes terrorists. These crown princes give tech to terrorists. Terrorists park nuke at World Series or Super Bowl, or in DC. World goes to hell...GET IT?

Now, if the UN were smart, they would all jump on board the Bush express and get things rolling and stop this proliferation. But, as long as it is not a country that is our close friend, the UN doesn't care, because the UN has become merely a free haven for these America haters to take pot-shots at us and we have to take it or be made into the Big Bullies of the World. Well, ladies and Gents, the little gnats are getting big teeth, and it may be time to start swatting some. This is serious business folks, and I do not think liberals understand how serious it can be. We have to be behind this President, behind this military, and behind this campaign against terror. If we are not, we risk more proliferation and more uncertainty, and head back to the nuclear nightmare.
