Spy Games: Wilson and His Wife Have Ties To Democrats

Joseph C. Wilson IV, the man accusing the White House of a vendetta against him and his wife, is an ex-diplomat turned Democratic partisan.
...
He contributed to Al Gore's 2000 presidential campaign and is aiding Democratic candidates. Yesterday, Mr. Wilson, a lover of the limelight, was to brief the House Democratic Caucus. But Democrats called off the session for fear they would make the investigation a partisan affair, which Republicans say it already is. "My political leanings are left of center," Mr. Wilson said on C-SPAN this week.

Check out another Washington Times piece for the full story.

Matt's Chat

This is looking more and more like a political hack job. Mr. Wilson, please, just admit that you're a scumbag who used your wife's position to get back in to the spotlight to further your own agenda and then go back to whatever rock you crawled out from under. It is bad enough when politicians make something out of nothing, but this is ridiculous.

Mark's Remarks

Wow! And some think I am the only one around here who can spew venom?!? Granted, it is truthful venom....I agree wholeheartedly. Mr. Wilson had an agenda. He was not rewarded for his great job of being an Ambassador (during which time he probably gave bad intelligence info) and he had a need to be back in the limelight again. I would not be surprised if he is found to be one of the main engineers behind a leak, or the propagating therein. This man is like a small, even more deplorable version of Clinton. They both use their wives for publicity, and cannot get out of the limelight. Go away, get out, we are trying to find real enemies in our midst, like the terrorists...remember???? Crawl back into your debaucherous hole, have dinner with the Streisands, and leave the people who live in the real world the hell alone.
