I think my colleague has missed the real point of this article. And I'm sure the editors missed it too. The point is that the Bush administration is "playing the game" and is asking if the Iraqis are ready for a faster transition of power and they are saying that they aren't. The French must be livid at the Iraqis. Anybody who has been pushing for the US to rush this process must really be upset that it is the Iraqis who are saying that they aren't ready. Now, there will be those who will claim that the Bush administration is pulling the strings of their Iraqi puppets but these are the same types of people who have espoused "black helicopter" type conspiracy theories where Halliburton is the secret shadow government.Mark's Remarks
Ladies and Gentlemen, you have had months to get your own ideas going and have done nothing but cry and moan for transfer...If you have your own ideas about the situation, get to them! Otherwise, listen to what we are advising you. Remember, if it hadn't of been for us, you all would still be fugitives and exiles.....
