Mayor of London Attacks Bush
Ken Livingstone, the Mayor of London, launched a stinging attack on President George Bush last night, denouncing him as the "greatest threat to life on this planet that we've most probably ever seen".

Mr Livingstone recalled a visit at Easter to California, where he was denounced for an attack he had made on what he called "the most corrupt and racist American administration in over 80 years". He said: "Some US journalist came up to me and said: 'How can you say this about President Bush?' Well, I think what I said then was quite mild. I actually think that Bush is the greatest threat to life on this planet that we've most probably ever seen. The policies he is initiating will doom us to extinction."
Mr Livingstone, who is holding a "peace party" for anti-war groups in City Hall tomorrow, added: "I don't formally recognise George Bush because he was not officially elected. So we are organising an alternative reception for everybody who is not George Bush."

WHAT! This is an outrage! Greatest threat? Excuse me? What about AIDS? What about terrorism? Osama bin Laden? Saddam Hussein? North Korea? Iran? Hamas? Who's trying to hold up the confirmation of MINORITY judicial nominees? Not the Bush Administration. That would be Senator Kennedy claiming that these fine people are "neanderthals" not the Bush Administration. Mr. Mayor, when you say ridiculous crap like this without backing it up with ANYTHING, I'd suggest that you shut the hell up.
Mr. Mayor, let me bring you up to speed on what is happening in the Colonies. We have a Constitution that describes EXACTLY how the President is to be elected. President Bush WAS OFFICIALLY ELECTED. And no number of recounts using fuzzy math is going to CHANGE THAT. So, Mr. Mayor, kindly shut the hell up.

Wow! Don't you love it when Matt gets fired up...of course, he takes away all my good lines and retorts!!! Well, Mr. Mayor, as far as the greatest threat, what about those folks Matt named? What about cancer, what about Bill and Hillary Clinton? Now there are three dastardly viruses I would not wish on my worst enemy, except an evil hamster somewhere or two. Friends, this mayor is playing to his tourists, to all the hype...it is a joke...You know, history will show the mettle of this President...Ronald Reagan, called a hero by most Brits, had far more protestors when he visited England in the 1980s. Mr. Bush, Mr Blair, stay strong...Do not listen to idiots like these who seem to just have sound and fury, but no ideas....
