Developing Story: Egyptian Official Attacked by Palestinians
Muslim demonstrators attacked visiting Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Maher on Monday as he tried to pray at the Al Aqsa Mosque, Islam's third-holiest site, in the Old City of Jerusalem, witnesses said.

Is Arafat behind this? I think it is entirely likely. Maher came to Israel to encourage peace which we know Arafat does not want. The only way for Arafat to maintain his base of power is to continue the violence and never achieve actually settle the issues. This is a shame. Egypt has been the stepchild of the Arab community for being in peace agreements with Israel. This is ridiculous. Attacking one man praying, that is bold, I mean really, I am sure Allah will reward that greatly, interrupting a man praying to Him. Come on, people, let's move past this crap and get the whole Road Map back on track.
The Arafat connection would not surprise me. The lil ol Troll is getting old and decrepit, and wants the fires of hate to be still burning even after he is gone. Thank goodness this diplomat was rescued, let's hope he is ok.
