Liberals Try to Shut Out HS Conservative Club: Threaten Boy
Tim Bueler recently received some unusual advice: His principal and a campus police officer suggested that he stay home from his California high school for a few days.
They feared for his safety because Tim, the founder of Rancho Cotate High School's new Conservative Club, said he had received threats from other students after writing an article for the club newsletter calling for a crackdown on illegal immigration.
...
In a telephone interview, Tim said he's been threatened at least three times by Hispanic students who call him "white boy" and "racist." One boy said he was going to "find someone" to beat up Tim.
In two of those instances, Tim said two faculty members stood by and did nothing to help him. Most recently, Tim said, he was confronted by a dozen Hispanic boys, who blocked him from walking down the hallway.
"They said, 'You're a racist,' and I said, 'Are you guys going to let me through?' " Tim said. "So I ducked into a classroom and told the teacher what was happening, and said, 'Can you help me?' And she said, 'No. Get out of here.' "

This is the kind of compassion that liberals show folks who disagree with them. It is disgusting because liberals are the ones who always whine about being shut out, but the reality is that liberals engage in this kind of activity far more than conservatives do. And at a school no less! Travesty.Mark's Remarks
Where is the ACLU? Shouldnt they be coming in when someone's rights are being violated, as Tim's are? Oh wait, they only defend atheists, abortionists, appeasers, and anti-Americans. That's right.....
It is sad that Tim has seen firsthand so early what he will be getting in college. Liberals only care if you are one of them. They will not protect your rights if you disagree with their ideas on abortion, their views of political correctness, or whatever else they spew. Woe be to you if you believe that affirmative action holds folks back, that welfare holds people back, or that people should be responsible for their own behavior. Sorry, Tim, but this is what we conservatives face in the academic world. That is part of the reason I hope to get back in the regular classroom real soon. There has to be a balancing force somewhere, and I am ready for that. I am ready to weather the storms, as I have already felt the blows of being a conservative in a liberal realm, and I have been working on combat for that with some lawyer friends and looking up caselaw. I will not be found ill-prepared again. The NEA didn't step in, just as teachers have not stepped in for Tim. When you disagree with liberals, you are expected to be wiped out, like the Borg in Star Trek. Assimilate or die fighting them. Well, let the games begin. I am ready for the battle and stand with Tim and others speaking out. God bless America and those brave enough to assert their rights in the wake of liberal oppression!
