It turns out Haliburton was not just loved by the Bush Administration, and that Haliburton has had to compete for its contracts. Well, Libs, it looks like your standardbearers in the media are following your lead: not letting truth get in the way of good smear. Let's review:
1. Contrary to charges, Haliburton had to compete to get their contracts.
2. The payment method is standard and is above board.
3. Clinton used Haliburton far more than Bush/Cheney, and Al Gore even praised it in his "Reinventing Government" report for a company that does things right with defense contracts. Is alGore part of the conspiracy, too?
Shameful, really, that all you have are black helicopter theories mixed with class warfare tactics....really shameful how you libs out there twist and turn truth, just to try to reshape the world in your own twisted image, an image of totalitarian socialism, which would make the soviet system proud, and a crushing of divergent ideas. Look at the party of true censorship: Dim patron saint Jimmy Carter disavowed his friend of 25 years Zell Miller because Zell said he was voting for Bush. Georgia's Dim Party removed Zell from their elected officials page even though he will be in office til January of 2005. Who are the silencers of dissent? Did George W. Bush order dissenters in speeches he gave executed or silenced? No, he just said, that is what makes democracy great. Wow, true hater of dissent there, right?
So, Matt, I guess we were duped. Haliburton will not be financing our plans to create the WMD amusement park and fun center. Darn! Looks like it is just a well run business after all, and one the Clintons loved as well as Bush, even more so; until it became politically expedient for them to demonize it.
