Media Bias Is Getting Noticed

When University of New Hampshire sophomore Victoria Meehan started watching Tuesday night's Democratic debate, she was leaning toward Howard Dean. At the end of the debate she identified no clear winner but one loser: the media.

"I'm starting to notice what they say about the media being very biased," she said. "It seemed like they were trying to promote mud slinging."

Meehan, from Chichester, watched the debate along with a few dozens other students on a projection TV in a campus movie theater.

The students cheered loudest for the candidates' early attacks on host Ted Koppel -- led by Rep. Dennis Kucinich's complaint that Koppel's questions were too concerned with polls, campaign money and endorsements.

Matt's Chat

Finally...the plan from our masters at Halliburton is working! I'd say more, but I am late meeting my black helicopter...

Mark's Remarks

Wait up Matt, you forgot the secret plans to cook up Hillary's latest bad haircut for political gain! Seriously, is it any wonder that the Dims are so strung out? Even the media is mocking them with their questions, even Ted Koppel, the leftist host of Nightline. Wow, sad, even when your busom buddies turn on you.

What is even more sad is that only Kucinich and Sharpton had the stones to stand up to Koppel from the getgo. Mr. Jean Kerry only did it when he noticed Kuchinich was getting cheers. Great principled leadership, Mr. Kerry.

And, did anyone notice that only Howard Dean raised his hand when Koppel asked if anyone thought Dean could beat Bush? Interesting...Just wait....They will be falling all over themselves to endorse Dean when he wins the nomination. Then I want to see all the two-faced backpedalling of this principle bankrupt pretender as he attempts to reach back to the center.
