Clinton and WMDs in Iraq

Former US president Bill Clinton said in October during a visit to Portugal that he was convinced Iraq had weapons of mass destruction up until the fall of Saddam Hussein, Portuguese Prime Minister Jose Manuel Durao Barroso said.

"When Clinton was here recently he told me he was absolutely convinced, given his years in the White House and the access to privileged information which he had, that Iraq possessed weapons of mass destruction until the end of the Saddam regime," he said in an interview with Portuguese cable news channel SIC Noticias.

Matt's Chat

Well, now, isn't this interesting. The grand poo-bah of the Democratic lifestyle thought there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq right up until the point of Saddam's capture.

I still believe we'll find them at some point, but I don't think they are still in Iraq. I think Saddam shipped them to Syria.

Mark's Remarks

Hmm....Clinton saying it up until the fall of Hussein...however, where is the support? Doesn't he know it was his information that the Bush Administration in part went from in deciding upon the invasion? His diciples in the DNC are poking at the WMD idea. That means they are saying that Clinton was wrong as well. However, I think the WMDs existed and still exist, and like Matt and I think Saddam shifted them somewhere. Of course, Bubba will never stand behind the President, even though Republicans stood behind him when he went into Iraq. Of course Bubba would never return a favor, after all, did he return the love to Monica....No wait, he didn't have sex with that woman, did he?

Bubba knows there were WMDs, the Dims really do....so does Saddam.....just they all are actually operating with the same m.o. Bring down the folks in power, so we can get the usual wishy washy, appeasing, bowing before the UN, detente giving away all advantage folks who were in there for 8 years in the 1990s.
