Moveon.Org Gets Spin Crazy

Moveon.org says it did not sanction or sponsor the ads, that they were part of a contest, and that opposition to the group is mischaracterizing the whole situation. Read this spin doctoring here.

Matt's Chat

This takes the cake. These guys put up material and then disavow it while blaming Republicans for it. That is just astounding! According to these hamsters, Republics mislead people. The truth is that yet again, hamsters were called to the carpet for a hatchet job and they are left shrugging saying, "It ain't bad when we do it, but you evil Republicans better not." It is sickening. And while the "mainstream" press will give these guys a pass, I absolutely do not buy their lies...and neither should anyone else.

Mark's Remarks

The standard media is probably going to give these morons a free pass, but I am not buying, and neither should you. First and foremost, moveon.org is controlled by a professional webmaster, with its material right down to its interactive section tightly controlled. To say that these "slipped through" is a cop out.

What really happened is that this group went too far, thinking everyone would rally behind the slanted, over the top coverage they give...and they were wrong. They were and are irresponsible with the facts, they are irresponsible with their content, and they typically distort the facts. When presented with opposing views or proof their sources are faulty, they cry conspiracy or some such nonsense. Hopefully, more people will realize the folly of this group of the "Hate America First" crowd and will move on themselves, to better things. As Mr. Foxman is quoted at the end of the article: "Their lack of discretion cheapens the level of political discourse in America."

Of course, cheap tricks are all the dims and libs have left.
