Iraq/Qaeda Connection

By Commenter Request...

From The Washington Times - Inside the Ring:
We have obtained a document discovered in Iraq from the files of the Iraqi Intelligence Service (IIS). The report provides new evidence of links between Saddam Hussein and al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden.

The 1993 document, in Arabic, bears the logo of the Iraqi intelligence agency and is labeled "top secret" on each of its 20 pages.

The report is a list of IIS agents who are described as "collaborators."

On page 14, the report states that among the collaborators is "the Saudi Osama bin Laden."

The document states that bin Laden is a "Saudi businessman and is in charge of the Saudi opposition in Afghanistan."

"And he is in good relationship with our section in Syria," the document states, under the signature "Jabar."

The document was obtained by the Iraqi National Congress and first disclosed on the CBS program "60 Minutes" by INC leader Ahmed Chalabi.

A U.S. official said the document appears authentic.

Matt's Chat

Now, using what I now call the "Palm Tree Method" of investigation, someone prove to me that this document isn't authentic and that there is and never was a connection between Saddam's Iraq and Osama's al Qaeda.

I have my own opinion on this, but I am not quite ready to reveal it as of yet...

Mark's Remarks

Careful Matt, you disprove any more of hamster lies and you might lose your label of being civil and all grown up.....or you might have to WAKE UP or something.....or you might be blaming others for your life's circumstances...ooops, was all this out loud? My bad......thinking out loud via keyboard again......

Back to the issue, it is NOT a big stretch and does not even require much brain power to put together that there must be a possible connection between Iraq and al Queda. People talk the religous differences, shia vs. sunni. HELLO?! Both Usama and Saddam worked with infidels when it suited their purposes, why should they not work together at the common purpose of killing Americans, what seems to be a midEas radical's favorite pasttime? Why wouldn't they combine resources, the better to establish more safe havens? Just because it is beyond the small hamster mind of libs like Al Franken and co. (speaking of sheep and blind shepherds, sheesh!), does not mean that it did not happen, and according to mounting data, there were operational alliances....wow, more liberal dogma disproved....but don't worry, it must have been Halliburton, or cockroaches, or angry spayed conservatives or something, or people who aren't grown up, or something like that......

I am Mark, and I approve of this message.
