Free College for Everybody

From My Way News (AP):
During his day at the college's Harlem campus, Kerry promoted his plan to give a free college education to students who agree to public service by ending a $13 billion windfall that banks earn for issuing government-backed student loans.

Matt's Chat

One wonders if Mr. Kerrey bothered to ask the banking industry what they thought of his plan and if they would continue backing the loans. Doesn't make much business sense to me...

Mark's Remarks

John Kerry is engaging in pandering, this time to incite the young people against those whom Kerry would call the establishment. Good heavens, how much more strife does this guy want to cause? I mean, his whole anti war veterans group engaged in planned kidnappings, he staged very costly efforts at property damage, and now he wants to set one generation against another, and to pander to them by offering the lie of free college education. It is not free, folks. Your taxes would pay for it, through being raised. Then, instead of working 6 months to pay off taxes, you would be working 11. Kerry is all about social experimentation at the cost of individual financial freedom. This guy is a pandering hack, and I hope and pray that more people out him for the coreless, pandering egotist that he is.
