Iraqi Torture Victims Seek Compensation

From SMH.com.au via Perry on Politics:
Iraqis tortured in US captivity in Iraq plan to file a class-action suit in US courts seeking compensation from private military contractors providing security services, a German lawyer said.

Matt's Chat

As Tim Perry asks, so do I: does this mean that Nick Berg's family has a crack at al Qaeda's cash? How about the Pearl family? 9/11 families?

Mark's Remarks

Yes, where is the money from Saudi Arabia, which has been a bastion for the Wahabists who sponsor terrorism? Where is the money from Bill Clinton's book deal for not doing enough to stave off 9/11? Where is the money from the John Kerry's and Ted Kennedys who decided to gut our intel services and who decided our military was a trifle we did not need? Where are the apologies from these failures, eh? Where are the apologies and money from the media, who are only too willing to show pictures of "tortured" prisoners, like it is even remotely something when put into context of the pain faced by 9/11 victims? Where is the money from Rall and others who cast aspersions on fallen soldiers and torture their families?
