Columbus OH Targetted

From Ohio News Network (ONN):
A Somali native living in Ohio has been charged with plotting with other al-Qaida operatives to blow up a Columbus-area shopping mall, according to an indictment unsealed Monday.

The four-count indictment, returned by a grand jury in Columbus, Ohio, charges that Nuradin Abdi, 32, conspired with admitted al-Qaida member Iyman Faris and others to detonate a bomb at the unidentified shopping mall after he obtained military-style training in Ethiopia.

Matt's Chat

A little too close to home for me...

Good to see that we are still winning though...

Mark's Remarks

This is a sobering reminder about why it is RIGHT that we are fighting in Iraq. I would rather be fighting in Baghdad and Ramallah than in Columbus or Cincinnati. If it were not for things like the War, and also the Patriot Act, we would have killing fields in this country. However, thanks to the leadership by George W. Bush, we are winning this war and thwarting terror plots before they come to full fruition.
