But Matt, achievement is going up. Graduation is up. However, what these rationalizers don't tell you is that standards have been lowered to such a degree that a chimp could graduate. I have seen the ACT score scales lowered, along with the SAT, I have seen graduation requirements lowered, along with extracurricular participation rates. You see, the other liberal mantra, other than 'never let the truth get in the way of good smear', is 'never take responsibility or hold people accountable...just give them a drug and a pat on the head and dumb them down some more.'
