Pro-Death Lobby Against FMA

From the TIB Network:

by Matt Hurley

NARAL is standing by their men:
"The attempt to amend the U.S. Constitution to ban same-sex marriages is a direct attack on the fundamental American right to privacy. The U.S. Constitution protects individuals' decisions about marriage, procreation, contraception and family relationships -- and that's how the majority of Americans like it.

NARAL Pro-Choice America urges the Senate to stop President Bush's attempt to block civil liberties in order to please his right wing base. We strongly oppose the Federal Marriage Amendment and are proud to stand side-by-side with our colleagues in the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender community to oppose this outrageous proposal."
I have no objection to that first paragraph except for that bit about FMA being an attack on America's right to privacy. The second just goes to show that these uber-liberals are simply partisan hacks: what does FMA have to do with abortion? Nothing. So why would anyone care what NARAL thinks about it?

Mark's Remarks

It is ok for them to choose to murder babies, but by crikey if you want to choose to vote for the FMA, then you are evil and demented! If you want to vote in favor of having the CHOICE to send your kids to private school, you are some kind of evildoer! But it is ok to choose to kill life because you were irresponsible or don't care to have the 'burden' of caring for someone other than yourself.
