From Yahoo News:Indicators measure the nation's unemployment rate, consumer spending and other economic milestones, but Vice President Dick Cheney says it misses the hundreds of thousands who make money selling on eBay.
"That's a source that didn't even exist 10 years ago," Cheney told an audience in Cincinnati on Thursday. "Four hundred thousand people make some money trading on eBay."

That is so lame Kerry/Edwards didn't even bother using Chad and Phil...they sent out little Johnny Edwards to smack this softball:"If we only included bake sales and how much money kids make at lemonade stands, this economy would really be cooking," Edwards said in a statement.There is so much more to talk about that is good about the economy, why give them easy ones like this? This looks like the first really dumb thing VP Cheney has said on the campaign trail.
Of course, this could be another AP hack job (remember the supposed 'booing' that didn't happen when the President told supporters about Clinton's heart problems). I am unable to locate a transcript to provide any kind of context to Cheney's comments.
